Dehumidifier applications — humidity control solutions for every Gulf sector

From hotel pools to pharmaceutical dry rooms — every application has its own conditions: temperature, target humidity, environment aggressiveness and installation requirements. This page maps each sector to the right series in the DanVex range, with direct supply from the Dubai warehouse and full technical support for selection calculations.

Hotels, swimming pools and spa centres

Indoor pools in hotels and villas combine two challenges: continuous evaporation from the water surface raises humidity to levels that cause condensation on glazing and structures, and chlorine vapour attacks standard heat exchangers. The wall- and floor-mounted DEH-WP Series is designed specifically for this environment — with E-Coating as standard and UV sterilisation. For large pools and water parks where fully concealed equipment is preferred, the answer is the ducted DD Series.

Coastal and marine facilities

In the Gulf's coastal cities the sea air adds a further factor: salt aerosol that accelerates corrosion of aluminium heat exchangers even in facilities far from any pool. For these harsh environments E-Coating comes as standard — not as an option — across the DEH-WP, DD, DEH-K series and the mobile DEH-i units, protecting the heat exchanger from salt aerosol just as it does from chlorine vapour.

Industry, warehouses and construction sites

Excess humidity in production halls and warehouses means equipment corrosion, damage to stored materials and mould growth. For permanent installation in large facilities — stationary DEH-K units (240–1 000 L/day) covering up to ~1 500 m². For mobile field drying — construction sites and water-damage restoration — the wheeled DEH-i units on a standard single-phase socket. For concealed ducted distribution across multiple zones — the DD Series up to 960 L/day.

Pharmaceuticals, dry rooms and cold storage

When the environment is colder than +15 °C or the target humidity is below 30% RH — pharmaceutical cleanrooms, dry rooms for lithium-battery and semiconductor production, refrigerated warehouses, ice rinks — condensation technology stops working efficiently and adsorption becomes the solution: the AD Series with a Proflute rotor works even at sub-zero temperatures and dries down to 1% RH.

Beverage cellars and private storage rooms

Wine storage in hotels, licensed restaurants and private collections requires stable humidity year-round — fluctuations damage corks and labels and spoil ageing conditions. Small spaces are served by compact DEH-WP units or ducted DD-F units with concealed installation that leaves the cellar's atmosphere untouched. The same approach applies to cigar storage rooms, archives and private art collections.
