About the range
Industrial dehumidification is a technical process whose purpose is to protect production cycles, equipment and stored materials from excess moisture. DanVex industrial units are built for continuous operation in demanding conditions and are organised in two complementary lines: the mobile DEH-i Series and the stationary DEH-K Series. Mobile units give flexibility to construction sites, restoration projects and temporary storage; stationary systems with capacities up to 1000 L/day become permanent building services in factories and logistics centres.
The two series share one engineering platform — designed for aggressive atmospheres and temperature swings. Heat exchangers across the range carry electro-deposited E-Coating anti-corrosion protection; Hot Gas Defrost preserves performance at low temperature; high-pressure centrifugal blowers develop the static pressure needed to move air through large volumes or extended ductwork. Modbus RTU RS-485 connectivity is standard on both series for direct integration with building management systems. Low-GWP refrigerants — R-290 on the mobile units and R-32 on the stationary ones — deliver environmentally responsible operation. The result is a complete industrial range, from stationary inverter efficiency to mobile field ruggedness, with stable precise climate control and predictable return on investment for professional installations.
Engineering standards across the range
What makes a DanVex dehumidifier "industrial" is not the size of the cabinet but a set of design decisions shared by both lines — technologies that set this equipment apart from consumer dehumidifiers carrying an "industrial" label:
E-Coating heat exchanger
An electrochemical anti-corrosion layer on the aluminium fins and copper tubes. Resists construction dust, organic acids, salt solutions, chlorine-laden cleaning agents and salt vapour typical of industrial environments. Standard across the DanVex industrial range.
High-pressure centrifugal blower
An industrial-grade centrifugal design delivers the static pressure required for large-scale installations. Holds airflow against loaded G4 filters, long duct runs and aggressive industrial conditions. Two motor implementations across the range: Smart-Inverter EC (variable 0–100%) and Step-Control AC (multi-speed).
Hot Gas Defrost
A fast defrost cycle by routing hot compressor gas directly into the coil. Operation is preserved from +10 °C (DEH-i Series) or +5 °C (DEH-K Series). Conventional defrost methods — passive (compressor stopped, fan running) or electric heater — take 20–30 minutes, during which dehumidification stops completely.
Modbus RTU RS-485
Standard on every model in both series. Direct integration with BMS, SCADA and facility monitoring. Centralised supervision of several units from one screen replaces field inspection rounds — a tangible labour-cost reduction in multi-unit installations.
Environmentally responsible refrigerants
R-290 on the mobile DEH-i Series; R-32 on the stationary DEH-K Series. Low-GWP refrigerants with high thermodynamic efficiency at industrial-dehumidifier capacities.
Pre-configured for installation (DEH-K)
Stationary units ship ready to connect: built-in sensors, digital controller, 5-in-1 sensor, UV + Anion modules, G4 filter and pre-charged refrigerant. Final commissioning is limited to the electrical connection (certified electrician) and the condensate drain — with no separate add-on modules to buy for standard operation.
How to choose — decision guide
Installation type and capacity together determine the choice. Use the table to identify the right series, then size the capacity within it.

Engineering information
The DanVex industrial range is built on standards professional HVAC and BMS contractors rely on:
- BMS-ready — Modbus RTU RS-485 connectivity standard on every model in both series; direct integration with SCADA, building management systems and validated monitoring without protocol gateways
- Duct-ready — the DEH-K Series supports ducted distribution with external static pressure of 200 Pa (on DEH-2K and DEH-3K), 250 Pa (on DEH-5K) and 300 Pa (on DEH-10K) for long runs and multi-zone facilities
- Top discharge on the K Series — the outlet on top of the cabinet simplifies the vertical duct connection without additional plenums
- Three-phase 380–415 V on DEH-K — matches standard industrial electrical infrastructure; single-phase 220–230 V is available on DEH-i and DEH-2K for sites without a three-phase supply
