About the DEH-1000P
The DEH-1000P holds a distinctive place in the range: high dehumidification capacity in a compact, unobtrusive housing that does not dominate the room it stands in. Unlike industrial units with metal cabinets, it uses a neat plastic housing designed for finished, occupied spaces — where the unit shares the room with people, goods or exhibits. At 21 kg, on wheels and with a built-in handle, one person moves it between rooms and floors as the humidity problem moves.
Two operating modes by site: direct drain — a hose to a floor drain or sink, unlimited continuous operation without emptying — the recommended set-up for any task beyond a day; or the tank of 7 litres with electronic overflow protection — the unit can be left running unattended over a weekend without flood risk. A digital humidity sensor holds the set level; the timer schedules operation around occupancy hours or off-peak electricity. The washable air filter is removed without tools. The unit is designed for heated indoor spaces (+10…+35 °C) — for cold applications and larger industrial loads the precise choice is the DEH-i and DEH-K ranges.
The heat exchanger carries a hydrophilic anti-corrosion Blue Fin coating — it helps condensate run off the coil and withstands the everyday humidity of commercial spaces and residential pool rooms. Truly aggressive environments — heavily used public pools, coastal salt air, elevated chlorine concentrations — require the specialised DEH-WP Series with E-Coating. Indicative coverage for ordinary indoor conditions: rooms up to about 80–120 m² — in practice it depends on starting and target humidity, ceiling height and moisture sources.
